star trek was fun but had problems; the story veered into goofy at times, the big fight on the space elevator was like a round of Mortal Kombat, ridiculous plot moments (kirk, lost on a barren waste planet rolls down a hill into spocks house), the villain was boring, Old Spock was an annoying dick who killed his entire species, and why were there adverts for Budweiser in the federation???
I liked Bones. i didnt like anyone else.

i am a HUGE star trek (I refuse to get into the extremely stupid arguement of trekkie/trekker).This is the type of thing i thought they were going to do with the show ENTERPRISE but didn’t…anyway,i loved this movie and the ONLY reason i wouldn’t give it a 10 is because of the stupid ending.honestly,who would give the command of the flagship of the federation to someone just out of the academy…they could at least have said it was a couple of years later
the ugly truth can easily get 7 or 8 it is really funny and interesting
